The quick description of the Ryerson web-series on digital culture, by Ramona & Jefferson, had me intrigued. The idea of gaining “real-world” experience, interviewing people in the industry, and being able to research a topic that has always been of interest, lead me to become involved in the project.
I’m fascinated by sociology & networking, specifically how they affect each other. Last year, I wrote a paper on mobile devices and how they change the way we see public space.
Even though I want to make a project for MPM33, the opportunity to do this internship is too difficult to pass up. As I always say, “if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be” and my argument is that my other classes are also doing projects that give us so much freedom, so… why not take the chance?
