Wire Sculptures & Sewing

Going on with my capacitive, wire sculpture idea. I created a kidney out of wire from the dollarstore:

I’m not sure what I want to do with it, need to experiment.

Jessica suggested drawing a brainstorm bubble. Is there something, plush toys vs. wire sculpture. Plush toy with a push me button, what will it do?

Jessica asked if I was going to buy the toys. I really want to test it out and see if it’s worth the commitment. I need to investigate and see the relationships. Apparently, I’ve fallen behind and should have done a lot more over reading week, but my critique with Kathleen is Friday, so I’m hoping I’ll get a lot done.

I decided to experiment with the concept and maybe a substitution, for now, would let me decide if I want to buy all the toys.

Off the to dollarstore to see if I can get a stuff toy to test with. Instead, I grabbed some fluffy socks, a sewing kit, and decorative styrofoam balls. In half an hour, this was what I ended up with:

I also need to decide how I want to setup the display. If I want a shop window or museum?

I want it to be ironic. I’ll need to decide and test for next Friday.
